Who are the Megahurts?

These are the students that make the program possible, their predecessors convinced the school to pursue FIRST. They put in sleepless nights during the build season and countless hours after school throughout the year planning and building projects to show the school and community what FIRST and Brehm is all about.

Our team has come a long way in these few short year, from a ragged looking group, working out of a wood-shop and science lab with no mascot; to a unified team with our own classroom, machine shop, team colors, fans, and a mascot.

Meet the team Mentors

When you think of a Mentor, what comes to mind? A leader? A teacher? A knowledge base to learn from? Someone on the edge of sanity (see photos on the left!)?

From FIRST:
As a Mentor or Coach of a FIRST team, you are, through the kids, the key ingredient in the success of your team. Your contribution to the success of FIRST programs and ultimately to the success of FIRST is immeasurable. The time, responsibility and expertise of a Mentor or Coach will vary but the one constant is that you are bringing something to your team that they need to learn, grow and succeed.

Meet our Mentors, hard working volunteers, willing to teach and learn with the Megahurts.

Team Alumni

Alumni are a great resource for any team. They can become new mentors, show your current students what is possible because of FIRST, and many more things. Being a boarding school, we do not always get to keep our students for a full high school term. So in our short 4 year history we have amassed a large Alumni body for a small team.

See who they are and where they are now.
